Jess, Courtney, and Dani Campbell go on the run after Jess, the youngest, kills their father while he is trying to drown Courtney in the toilet. He had already burned her face with a hot skillet, fueled by his drunken rage over her affair with a married man. The sisters attempt to reach Vancouver, but are waylaid by dastardly bad Samaritans. This cautionary tale will make most everyone thankful for their relatively calm, safe progression through childhood to adult.
