Ghost Story / Jim Butcher / 481 p.

This is the first Dresden File in which I was a bit disappointed. While I appreciated going back into Harry's memories about his early years with Justin, I found that part to go on too long. A little editing would have been nice. I did like seeing how Butters has grown and how Harry came to view Morty in a totally different way. But, boy, do Karrin and Molly suffer in this one!

And this was the audio version I knew was coming--the one NOT read by James Marsden. Poor John Glover. Along with many others, my first reaction was "NOOOO!" It is not that he didn't do a wonderful job. I think he may actually handle all of the varied accents and voices just a tad better. BUT his voice is not the voice of Harry. That belongs to James Marsden alone.

But even if this won't be my favorite of the series it was still good and I look forward to moving on to #14.
