River Road/Janye Ann Krentz/343 pgs.

Lucy Sheridan is returning to Summer River for the first time in thirteen years. Her aunt died in a car accident, and since Lucy is her heir, she has come back to settle the estate. The last time Lucy was at Summer River, she had been at a wild teenage party, and been rescued by Mason Fletcher--a few years older than Lucy, and the one she had a crush on. In the ensuing years, Lucy became a forensic genealogist, and Mason, once a policeman, now operates a successful security firm with his brother, Aaron. Of course, there is instant attraction when Lucy and Mason meet up again in Summer River. However, they don't know what's in store: an old murder uncovered, drugs, arson, just to name a few. It's an all right read, but nothing exceptional.
