This is book #3 in the N.E.R.D.S. series of books about the kids with weaknesses who are secret agents operating out of their elementary school.  In the Cheerleaders of Doom, Wheezer who loves her combat boots and big baggy clothes and is known for loving to kick butt, must become a cheerleader in order to find Mathlete, a former N.E.R.D. whose invention is threatening the end of the world by changing alternate realities.  These books are lots of fun to read, full of action, enlivened by extreme characters and always have a little subtle lesson.  Recommended for grades 3-6.
