Nora Jacobs Series, Part 3 Don’t Bait Me / Jackie May / 332 pages

When Nora was bitten by a werewolf instead of turning into one, the bite broke the glamour that was probably placed on her by her mother when she was young to protect her.  The glamour that made her look human, suppressed her abilities, and hid that she herself was an Underworlder. She wants to lay low figure out her heritage and if she wants to date any of the men in her life.  But hoping for some quiet time was too good to be true when Terence her troll roommate is almost killed when shot with a bunch of arrows outside a grocery store and he wasn’t the only fey attacked in this way. But because Terence and the others are fey and the fey aren’t part of treaty signed by all the other races that formed the Underworlder government, the supernatural government can’t investigate.  So when the Fey come to her because of her reputation for solving cases what choice does she have but to take the case after all she’s a fey too and her friend and the fey don’t have anyone else to go to. Narrated by: Hollie Jackson 7h 53min.
