Melena Sanders is a Sensor, someone with the ability to sense supernaturals and who is immune to magic. Sensors have all but been wiped out by supernaturals hunting them to almost extinction. Sensors used to hunt them down and kill supernaturals that preyed on normal humans until they were wiped out, and just because she’s immune to magic doesn’t mean they can’t hurt her, in other more physical ways. Which is why After her parents and then guardian died she joined the U.S. army better to be on the move and the free self defense lessons weren’t bad either. But when she was discharged, she settled down in the same city as her childhood friends. And things were good until one of her friends goes missing on her trip to Fairbanks, Alaska which is a supernatural haven.
