This is the first book in Linden's Reece Family trilogy. I have already read the third book and wasn't really aware that this book was in the same series, so it was a nice surprise to see how things got started. Hannah is a vicar's widow with a young daughter. Because she has nowhere to go after her husband's death, she's about to reluctantly return to her father's house when a carriage accident lands a wealthy lord on her doorstep. I loved the start of this story because you think it's going to go one way and then the author throws you a curve ball and it goes in a completely different direction. This is a nice little romance with a mystery on the side.
