Uncaged / John Sandford / 407 pages

Shay and her brother, Odin, are orphans enmeshed in the less than perfect foster family sustem.  When Odin is involved in a portest at an animal research lab that goes horribly wrong, he goes on the run. Will Shay find hem before Singular Corp?  This is an engaging, if a bit unlikely, account of young adults caught in a deadly, greedy game...with predictable results.  The suspense and action are awesome, and the empowerment of youth is inspiring.
