After You/ Jojo Moyes/ 368 pages

I know a lot of people are not excited for this sequel to the very popular Me Before You, but I think Jojo Moyes really pulled it off. We want to think Lou went on to the perfect life when that book ended but the reality was that wasn't going to be the case. I enjoyed Lou's interaction with the grief counseling group and appreciated the reminder that grief has no end date. That is what this book really explores - how do you find a new happiness after a great loss. For lightness Lou's family has a starring role - like in the first novel - and they are wonderful and hilarious.
