Molly Sanderson is a freelance journalist for the Ridgedale Reader, the local paper of Ridgedale, NJ. Molly, her husband, and young daughter have recently moved to Ridgedale to rebuild their lives after Molly delivered a stillborn baby. As luck would have it, Molly is assigned to cover the story when the body of a newborn baby is discovered in the woods on the fringes of the town's university campus. The chapters in the book are told in various characters' voices, leading the reader down different paths in order to discover the identity of the dead baby, and why he/she ended up in the woods. It's a riveting story that keeps you guessing until the end. Highly recommended (thanks, Cindy B. for bringing this one to my attention!)
