I highly recommend this one!  Author Sue Monk Kidd explains in the afterward which parts of Sarah and Angelina Grimke's lives and time she fictionalized to craft her story.  Famous historical personages inhabit the pages that detail a moving account of the horrors of slavery told from the perspective of the slaveholding Grimkes and the bound slave, Hetty (Handful.).  This is a "masterpiece of hope and daring, the quest for freedom, and the desire to have a voice in the world."
