Cold Days / Jim Butcher / 515 p.

As Harry's powers increase so do the challenges--especially now that he is the Winter Knight. Sometimes Butcher puts just a tad too much description and analogy in, but he still manages to create vivid scenes that propel the story along. His world of vampires, werewolves, demons, etc, etc. continues to grow to include the terrifying "outsiders." Along the way Harry's list of "frenemies" grows and grows. At the same time, his band of devoted followers constantly put themselves in harms way to help him. I can't say that I am thrilled with the outcome for Molly, but it is a logical progression for the character.

So glad to get back to James Marsters as the narrator.
