This is a story of Christmas miracles and rekindled hope and faith. Reverend David Richmond has been sent to the backwater town of Gladstone, known for its Christmas miracles revolving around angels, candles, and a particular chandler family. He had expected to be stationed in London due to his family's connections but his involvement in the death of a colleague led to his banishment and subsequent loss of faith. God uses the mistakes of stumblers. He took the town's eyes off the candle and set them on himself...the Candle of Christmas.
"A little pulpit fire never burned a church."
"God keeps his distance, you know. He steps in with the Read Sea and Resurrection moments, but most of the time he leaves life up to us."
