Holly and Homicide, a Domestic Bliss Mystery / Leslie Caine / 337 pages / December Challenge Winter Holidays

Steve Sullivan and Erin Gilbert run a two person remodeling/redecorating company.  Currently, they are rehabbing Henry Goodwin's Victorian mansion into a B & B.  Sheriff Mackey of Snowcap Village is opposed to the Yuppie remake.  He, in fact, suggests that a recent grave robbery was "probably another case of Yuppie skiers robbing us of our ancestry..."  The new Snowcap Inn is due to open on Christmas Eve.  Erin sincerely hopes that her string of bad luck and dead bodies is over, but fears the missing body of R. Garcia will somehow find her.  The several homicides prove that Erin's luck hasn't changed.  There are plenty of suspects in the holiday who-done-it, as well as an unexpected - at least to me - ending.

"Unresolved small problems have a way of re-emerging as bigger problems later."
