Do or Die/Suzanne Brockmann/558 pgs.

Former Navy Seal Ian Dunn is in prison for a crime he didn't commit; he pleaded guilty in order to secure the safety of his brother, Aaron, and Aaron's husband, Sheldon. Enter lawyer Phoebe Kruger, who has been assigned as Ian's new lawyer, and Martell Griffin, another lawyer given the task of making Ian an offer he can't refuse. In exchange for his freedom, Ian must free two kidnapped children (kidnapped by their father) reportedly on their way to Kazbekistan.  Their father is using them in order to get his former wife, Dr Lusa Vaszko, to follow them to Kazbekistan, so that she can be pressured into heading the country's new nuclear program. The problem is that in leaving prison, Ian is jeopardizing his brother and brother-in-law's lives. This is packed with action, suspense, humor, and romance. It's a fast read, and supposedly the beginning of a new series. Recommended!
