I stayed up too late finishing After I'm Gone. But, it was worth it for the closure! This is the story of Felix, a criminal who made his fortune through illegal gambling, and the women he left behind: a wife, 3 daughters, and a girlfriend. Ten years after his disappearance his girlfriend disappears. Years later her body is found. Now, Detective Sanchez is digging up cold cases and trying to solve the mystery. Great story. I've only read one other book by Lippman, but I find that I really enjoy her writing.
