Horrorstor / Grady Hendrix / 243 pages

Trinity and Matt, two partners at Orsk, have hidden inside the store in order to conduct a complete parapsychological investigation of the phenomenon that had been occurring in the store after hours.  Basil, Ruth Anne, and Amy have stayed after hours for pretty much the same reason but they are not hoping to find ghosts as the culprits.  They want to have the store ready for a visit from corporate headquarters.  A séance goes horribly wrong and the warden and prisoners from Cuyahoga Panopticon reanimate and wreak death, destruction, and madness.  This creative setting for a horror story has a satisfying surprise ending, as well as tension, human interest, and humor throughout.

"Architecture could be designed to generate a psychological effect."
"Work gives you a goal.  It lets you build something that lives after you're gone.  Work has a purpose beyond making money."
