FBI agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela "Mike" Caine are called in to investigate the murder of naval historian and antiquities dealer, John Pearce. There is more to John Pearce than meets the eye. He is also known as "The Messenger" in an international secret society. His final words are "The key is in the lock" which sets the hunt into motion. The novel is fast paced, and action packed. This is the second book in the "A Brit in the FBI" series. I like how the main characters in the series are developing. I think it's a good collaboration between Coulter and Ellison. Recommended.
