All Our Yesterdays / Cristin Terrill / 360 pages

The world has crumbled like a house eaten from the inside by rot.  The government has developed a massive particle collider called Cassandra.  Using Einstein's theory of relativity, it can punch a hole in the space-time continuum, allowing time travel.  The story opens with Em and Finn imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base.  They have been tortured so that the Doctor can discover their secret.  Em is fascinated by the drain in the floor, imagining horrific reasons for its presence in the middle of the cell.  Inside the drain is a piece of paper detailing fourteen previous attempts to alter the course of time that resulted in terrible changes around the world, the diabolical transformation of their friend James, and their own imprisonment.  All Our Yesterdays is "a wrenching brilliantly plotted story of fierce love, unthinkable sacrifice, and the infinite implications of our every choice."  Awesome!!
