Moving Day, Jonathan Stone, 283 pages
Stanley Peke and his wife are ready to embark on their last adventure.  Their belongings have been packed for a week and they are waiting for the moving van to arrive.  Without giving away the story, the move does not go as planned.  Stanley finds an inventive way to remedy the situation.  Half way through the book all seems well but something has to fill up that last half.  Now we really find out what Stanley is all about.  It's been a long time since I've read a book that was hard to put down.  This one kept me up until 3:00 AM to see what Stanley was going to do to solve his problem.
