Basically Men in Black meets James Bond in this great book.  The author takes his time building up a world and characters and then the action takes off in the second half of the book.  A woman wakes up in someone else's body and is thrust into a job where she is part of a secret British organization that neutralizes supernatural beings.  Rook Myfanwy (rhymes with Tiffany) Thomas reads a series of letters from herself in an effort to discover who stole all of her memories and the traitor within Checquy.  She must also save the world from the evil Grafters who are weirder than weird and deal with her fellow members of the Checquy who have special powers.  There is plenty of suspense, action, maneuvering and lots and lots of humor.  Recommend...savor every word.
