Calculated in Death/J.D. Robb/386 pgs.

If I haven't said it before, I'm saying it now: this is one of my favorite series! The series is set in the not too distant future, and features Lieutenant Eve Dallas, her billionaire husband, Roarke, and others that appear in each of the books. In the latest series entry, Eve is called in on a murder that looks like a mugging gone awry. The crime scene is off, and it's up to Eve, with the help of the NYPSD, to determine why someone murdered Marta Dickensen, and tried to make it look like a mugging. Marta Dickensen is a well respected accountant, mother of two, and has an equally respected husband, when her life is suddenly cut short. It appears she has information on a client whose business is not on the up-and-up. This is a novel of greed, money laundering, deceit, etc. This is the 36th entry in the series, and if you want to take advantage of this month's challenge, I encourage you to read the first in this series--Naked in Death. It will get you hooked! BTW: J.D. Robb is the well known author, Nora Roberts.
