Bob Beckwith of MIT is happily married and father of two. He gets a shock to learn that he has a out-of-wedlock French son. Jean-Claude's mother has just passed away and a home is needed. Disharmony in his relations occur when he reveals all. He, with his wife support, agrees to take Jean-Claude for one month while foster parents are organized. All fall in love with Jean-Claude.
