Lucas, is an immortal Nephilim, half angel and half human, the longer a person lives the more their actions from the past can come back to haunt them in the future. When Sensors and Angels instigated a war against supernaturals, Lucas killed hundreds and thousands of humans and Sensors to protect supernaturals and finally ended the war by killing the Sensor leader. But in doing so he was punished by the Angels for his crimes, they would assign him as protection duty to young Sensors to keep them alive until their natural death, because supernaturals were still trying to hunt them down for the war. He has done this for centuries avoiding close relationships that could make his life more difficult until he met Melena. He admired her for her survivor attitude and after watching over her for so long their relationship began to change but when she almost dies to heal her he breaks one of the greatest laws set by angels, to never give humans Nephilim blood.
