Guild Codex: Spellbound Series, Part 3 Two Witches And A Whiskey / Annette Marie / 328 pages

Tori has been working for a magic guild as their bartender for about three months. The only reason she still has her job is because the paperwork, supposed to be sent to Magipol, the magic government keeps getting lost. If Magipol knew she was just a regular human she wouldn’t be able to stay.  But after trying to help the guild find the notorious Ghost, a black magic rogue and failing (on purpose because of a magic binding that keeps her from talking about all she learned when she was kidnapped by the Ghost) Magipol has been breathing down the guild’s neck and Tori has been forced to take a mini vacation so that Magipol doesn’t discover her until this all blows over. With her classes over, for the semester she has nothing to do and a bored Tori doesn’t do sitting around well.  So when there’s a knock on her door that interrupts her drunk cleaning spree she doesn’t hesitate to open it. Two witches (who found her because her fairy roommate has been blabbing to other fairies) need her guild’s help. A bunch of fairies in the park near the city have been going missing and none of the other guilds will take the job to find out what’s going on. The two fast talking witches won’t take no for an answer and now Tori and the guild are being dragged into the problem. There’s a reason none of the other guilds will take the job, one of the most dangerous rogue guilds has been killing fairies for sport and plan to do a ritual to force a Fae Lord into their enslavement, which would make them even more powerful and dangerous.
