Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer, 389 pages

parts of this book was interesting, parts of this book were so boring I skimmed pages, parts of this book were predictable. this is not to say it was a terrible book, the author is pretty great. she writes very well and if it weren't for some heavy borrowing of other tales in unflattering ways, and confusing world building, this book would have been fantastic. while this book was not great, I think her future work is definitely worth reading.
