The Time Traveler's Wife is the love story of Claire and Henry.They meet when Claire is six years old and Henry is 36 and he is
time traveling from 22 years in the future. Henry is a Chicago
librarian with a genetic disorder that yanks him from his current
time period and life and sends him forward or backward in time
where he arrives naked and nauseated. He has to hide and steal
what he needs until he is thrust back home with very little warning.
Henry and Claire share many visits and when they finally do meet
when they are both in the here and now, they already know they
love each other and will be married. Their life together is far from
perfect. This is one of those stories that you just know is not going
to end the way you want but it's an absolutely fascinating read all the way to the last page! Loved it!
