Witch is How the Tables Turned is the 28th book in the Witch PI series--which I did not know when I reserved this book! Jill is a witch and a private investigator. A close friend goes missing and she is worried, concerned and quite determined to get to the bottom of the mystery. While solving that case, her magical friends and neighbors want her help with mermaids, zombies, ghosts, tables that spin on their own, plants that disappear from gardens, problem landlords and more!
It was a little weird starting on the 28th book of a series--characters get no introductions, nothing is explained and the setting and events are certainly unusual! That being said, this was a fun book to read. It took me a while to get into the rhythm--it is a bit of an odd duck--but it is funny, with good characters, and an unusual set-up. I enjoyed it.
