Humans, Bow Down/James Patterson/321 pages

In this story, it only took the Hubots (humanoid robots) three days to win a war against humanity; thus, they have enslaved all surviving humans, taking their names away and referring to them by numbers instead and showing their dominance with the phrase, “Humans, Bow Down.”  10 years after this, two teenaged humans nicknamed “Six” and “Dubs” begin to show their rebellious sides against the Hubots by stealing a Hubot’s car, which sets off a search party to find and kill the two—especially Six, who is the granddaughter of the main threat to the Hubot race.  Meanwhile, one Elite Hubot detective, MikkyBo, tries to prove her title to her leader by leading the search party, not knowing that he was planning to have the others in the party exterminate the entire human population.  Once she does realize what’s happening, MikkyBo starts to feel human feelings, which makes her question between right or wrong, and even attempts to help Six and Dubs in one part of the story.

This novel was a lot faster paced than the last book I've read/listened to, but I still liked how how there were two different points of view: one for Six in first-person, and one for Mikky in third-person.
