The Broken Girls/ Simone St. James/ 326 pgs

I really like Simone St. James's moody, supernatural books. This one is no exception. There are two timelines that revolve around Idlewild Hall, a school for castoff girls in Vermont. The first timeline covers 4 girls at the school during the 1950s. The second covers modern day Fiona, whose older sister's body was found on the school field in the 1970s. There is a ghost, there are multiple mysteries, there is the creepy old abandoned school which someone wants to resurrect. All of this is wonderfully woven together into a very satisfying outcome. I recommend any of St. James's books.
