Talk to the Paw is a light, easy to read novel about Jamie Snyder, a thirty-something former teacher who moves to LA trying to find herself and decide what to do with her life. Jamie's cat, MacGyver, knows that Jamie is lonely--he can tell by the way she smells! MacGyver finds the perfect man for Jamie in David, a widower neighbor that has the same loneliness scent. MacGyver is an excellent match-maker and soon our main characters are falling in love whether they are ready or not.The author does a nice job with an odd assortment of unusual characters. She really knows cats! I can picture my own feline making some of the same moves but I think I have some different interpretations of what they mean. This was a great pick and put down fun book.
