In Lucky the Hard Way, Lucky O'Toole makes her way over to Macau in order to save her former lover, Teddie, who is the prime suspect in a murder investigation, AND to save her father's Las Vegas casino, the Babylon. If that's not enough, she's leaving behind her fiancé to prepare for the opening of their new hotel and restaurant. There is murder, mayhem, double crosses, etc., which results in a fast paced enjoyable read. It's a fun (and funny) series. Recommended!
