Hope Is a Ferris Wheel / Robin Herrera / 261 pages

Star Mackie lives in Treasure Trailers with her mom and older sister, Winter.  The move from Oregon to California has been difficult for Star but she is determined to find her niche.  Winter had started a creative writing club at her old school, which, unfortunately, led to her expulsion.  Star decides to start a club...an Emily Dickinson Club!  Club members are few...and odd...to say the least, but their discussions of meaning of hope and dreams are thought-provoking, heart-storming, and inspirational.
