Deception: A Novel is part of a trilogy of sorts written by Randy C. Alcorn. Deception focuses on Ollie Chandler, a detective with the Portland, Oregon police department. The murder of a prominent college professor results in too many suspects and too many alibis. All the clues point to the murder being one the detectives. Is Ollie being setup to take a fall? Just how deep in the department does the deception go. This was an interesting read that will keep you wondering until the end.
