Unbroken is the biography of Olympic runner Louis Zamperini. Laura Hillenbrand has written an in-dept biography of Louie starting with his 'wild child' beginnings through his struggles coping after release from a Japanese POW camp. Louie life was filled with adventures and close calls to fill multiple lives. The author does a good job in detailing the wretched existence for all POW's held by the Japanese during WW II.
