This is part of the Fool's Gold series, and is basically about Justice Garrett and Patience McGraw. When Justice Garrett was a boy, he arrived in Fool's Gold, California, and became friends with a young Patience McGraw. One day Justice was there, and the next day he and his father were gone. Years later, Justice comes back to Fool's Gold with the intention of opening a defense academy. When Justice left years before, he took with him Patience's adolescent heart. As an adult, Patience thinks she's over her infatuation with Justice--until he enters her life again. There are sparks, humor, and a romantic resolution. It's fluff, but entertaining! Recommended.
