Someone Is Watching/Joy Fielding/369 pgs.

Bailey Carpenter is a special investigator for a Miami law firm. One of her assignments is to investigate a deadbeat dad. In the dead of the night, Bailey is attacked, while trying to gather evidence on the deadbeat. It's a brutal attack, and leaves Bailey in a terrified state of mind. She holes up in her apartment, observing her unknown neighbors in the apartment building across from hers. Through her binoculars, Bailey thinks she has spotted the man who attacked her. In spite of her crippling fear, Bailey conducts her own investigation into her attack. As if this weren't enough going on in her life, Bailey and her brother, Heath, are being sued by their half siblings concerning their deceased father's estate. It all comes together in a suspenseful, fast-paced, mystery. Recommended!
