Transfer of Power written by Vince Flynn presents a fight between American covert operators and a group of terrorists who have taken control of the White House. While not as factually accurate as Tom Clancy, this book would be a good substitute for the reader who misses the Clancy action and adventure. Flynn tells the story from the point of everyone doing their job with little told about their lives outside of that. The story will hold the reader's interest as they follow the ups and downs of the politics of saving the White House and it's occupants. For more novels by
