"A new you for the New Year." This Fountain of Youth Work-Out Studio had decided to forego a Christmas celebration in order to focus on the new year. Frannie Jay Jakumbowski has returned to New Haven from sunny California to be the new step aerobics instructor. Unfortunately, she views a naked foot from her dorm window at the spa. The murdered young man had given Frannie a ride from the airport. Is she responsible for his death? As more deaths occur or are attempted, the press refers to the Fountain of Youth as the Fountain of Death. Who is next? Who is the murderer? Focusing on the new year's penchant for resolutions and self improvement, Fountain of Death presents various individuals in their quest for improvement and their rationales and realizations. Although a tad predictable and easily solved, this is still an enjoyable New Year's read.
