Flesh and Blood/ Patricia Cornwell/ 369 pages

Flesh and Blood, written by Patricia Cornwell, is the latest adventure of Kay Scarpetta.  In this thriller a seemingly highly skilled sniper is taking out everyday people doing everyday things.  Only after some digging does Kay realize everyone is somehow connected to her.  This book is a great improvement over recent Scarpetta novels.  Most of the story takes place in reality and less in Kay's mind than previous installments.  This book would appeal to someone who likes police procedurals and medical stories.
