I finally took a challenge and read a holiday book!
This is a new Christmas title for this year. It is the story of a family regaining the spirit of Christmas after the loss of the father. The father passed away in October (from what I can tell) and they struggle to embrace Christmas without him. With the help of their "true friends", who count down the twelve days of Christmas by surprising them with little gifts. It is just a sweet story, with the added bonus of trying to figure out who the "true friends" are. (PS if you are a crier, you might need some tissue!)
