Fraternal twins Jude and Noah are inseparable; both are artistic and competitive with each other. Once puberty hits, Jude and Noah have "sibling" issues. Noah becomes interested in the boy next door, and Jude becomes quite the hit among her peers. Noah is introverted, and Jude is a fearless extrovert. In addition, their parents are having problems. "Something" happens around their thirteenth birthday which drastically changes Noah and Jude's relationship. The book is told in alternating chapters through Noah and Jude's voices. This is an effective way to give their back story,  and to give each of their perspectives. It's an interesting and fast read. Highly recommended for older young adults and adults!
