Evil Librarian / Michelle Knudson / 343 p.

"He’s young. He’s hot. He’s also evil. He’s . . . the librarian." How could I resist a clever tag line like that? Annie has fallen head over heels for the new librarian, Mr. Gabriel.  Cynthia, however, is instantly wary of him.  It seems with good reason since it turns out that he is really a demon looking for a bride.  Cyn must find a way to vanquish the evil librarian and save both her friend and the school play.  Along the way she also enlists the help of the cute lead in the play who she has had a crush on all year.

I can see the appeal to young people because it is filled with humor as well as heroism and I like having a female protagonist. But to a large extent, I felt that I was reading an episode of "Buffy the Vampire-Slayer."
