Christmas at Tiffany's / Karen Swan / 580 pages / Christmas Challenge

The title Christmas at Tiffany's is very misleading, as this book is not entirely a Christmas story.

Christmas at Tiffany's main character is Cassie.  Cassie married her first serious boyfriend after boarding school, much to the dismay of her trio of childhood friends - Kelly, Suzy and Anouk.  Stuck in the Scottish moors hosting hunting parties and pining away for a baby, Cassie makes a shocking discovery at her 10th Wedding Anniversary party about her husband and her "new" best friend Wiz.

Kelly, Suzy and Anouk quickly help Cassie make her escape from Scotland and return to "civilization" (first New York, then Paris and finally England) to "find herself".  When Cassie runs into Suzy's younger brother Henry in New York's Central Park, he makes it his mission to help Cassie find her way to finding herself by planning obscure to do lists for each city she visits.

This is a lengthy book, but the author provides many plot twists, introduces a variety of characters and gives interesting details about the settings.

Cassie does end up at Tiffany's, at Christmas, twice during the book.  That's all I'm saying...
