File Under: 13 Suspicious Incidents / Lemony Snicket / 259 pages

Filled with pithy advice like "It's better to dive into a shark tank than into a family argument"; remarkably accurate observations like "Think of something noble and true, like a librarian or a good crisp apple or a sweater that doesn't itch"; and elucidating vocabulary such as "obtuse which could refer to a large angle or a dim-witted person", File Under 13... is certainly not for the obtuse.  The reader is challenged to solve each incident by using the clues presented therein.  Solutions are listed in the back of the book.  This is a fun book filled with rich language and clever twists sure to please Lemony Snicket fans.  This would be an awesome read-a-loud and/or writing prompt.  I must admit, however, that I found Sub-File B: Conclusions to be a bit confusing?!
