Jewels of the Sun / Nora Roberts / 445 pages / Irish/Scottish Challenge

Jude Frances Murray has returned to her Irish roots in a most unorthodox way. She has taken a sabbatical from teaching which she has decided she doesn't really like. She came to stay in Maude's cabin, a grandmother she never met. She is going to collect stories and folklore of Ireland and perhaps publish a book of the same with personal notations and impressions. Several of these stories appear in her dreams with jewels being offered instead of declarations of undying love resulting in centuries of dissatisfaction and seeking. The owner of the local pub, Aiden Gallagher, is yet another source...of stories, family, and love. Nora Roberts has yet again managed to entertain, humor, and comfort in this fairy tale come true story of true love.
