Firm Ambitions / Michael Kahn / 309 pages / St. Louis Challenge

I was a bit put off with this Michael Kahn novel starring Rachel Gold. It seems to focus on raunchy sex and extramarital affairs, and seems to accept these as being the norm. Rachel's sister Ann is accused of murder when her exercise guru is found dead in a motel room of cyanide poisoning. Unfortunately, Ann had written a note to the cad and the police believe it establishes motive. To clear her sister, Rachel investigates Andros and uncovers a far-reaching plot.
