Zara is sent to Maine to live with her grandmother. She has been depressed since the death of her stepfather and her mom thought a change of scene might snap her out of it and cause her to begin living again...And she does...It's just very different from the life she lived before. Okay, the pixie angle/fantasy was a bit hard to accept, but the story is well-grounded and believable despite this. If you are a reader of fiction you have to be prepared to suspend your disbelief. This book gives the reader ample opportunity to do this. The book causes chuckles, smiles, and a feel good feelings throughout.
