Delirium is the first book of a trilogy and should be added to your list of must-read dystopian young adult novels. Think of a cross between
Uglies by Westerfeld and
Matched by Condie, a dystopian romance. The pace is a little slow but the author's writing is descriptive and very poetic. The love story was a little ho-hum but things did pick up near the end of the book and I must tell you, I've already started
Pandemonium, book 2 of the series!
