This is the second title in the Lakeshore Chronicles and is the story of Jenny Majesky. In the first book, we find out that Jenny is Olivia's sister. And in this one, a fire destroys her home and she ends up staying with the local chief of police, Rourke McKnight. Rourke is also the first man that Jenny loved. Good story and ties up some of the story lines from the first title
